🌼 2025 – Montbello High School
In 2025, When I Glow Up continued to grow its impact by strengthening community partnerships and expanding access to families across Denver. Through our collaboration with Denver Public Schools, we were able to reach a greater number of students and ensure that resources were directly connected to those who needed them most. Building on our foundation, we increased both our capacity and our presence—welcoming more families, volunteers, vendors, and donors into the work. This growth allowed us to deepen our focus on whole-family support, expanding access to community resources, mental health connections, and culturally affirming services that prioritize both preparation and well-being. What once started as a grassroots effort continues to evolve into a community-powered movement—one that not only meets immediate needs, but creates lasting impact by ensuring youth and their families feel supported, seen, and equipped to thrive.
🌼 2024 – Growth at Dahlia Wellness Center
In our second year, we doubled in size and partnered with the Dahlia Wellness Center to bring our vision to life on a larger scale. With more room, more volunteers, and even more donors, we evolved the event into a whole-family experience—recognizing that when caregivers are supported, kids thrive. New services included complimentary parent massages, an expanded vendor list, and a deeply intentional focus on wellness, preparation, and dignity for every attendee.
🌱 2023 – Our Roots at Green Spaces
Our very first When I Glow Up event was hosted at Green Spaces in Denver. With less than a month of planning, we served 25 families and planted the seed for something greater. Thanks to a few generous donors—many of whom still support us today—we launched a movement grounded in community, love, and care.
