When I Glow Up: Chicago is our second location added to support teens in underserved communities. Our aim is to remove financial barriers connected to milestone experiences for students, while also connecting them to community resources that are culturally appropriate. Through local support, resources, and intentional care, we create opportunities for students to show up confidently and fully participate in moments that matter.

Class of 2026 Prom: Night of Opulence
Event Overview
This year, When I Glow Up Chicago was proud to partner with Proviso Math and Science Academy in Forest Park, IL to send 8 seniors in need to prom completely free, ensuring they participated in this milestone experience with confidence and dignity. The event took place on April 24, 2026, and included a pre-prom experience designed to prepare and celebrate each student ahead of the evening. Each selected student received comprehensive support, including prom tickets, attire, hair and makeup services, accessories, transportation assistance, and a curated send-off experience with family—all made possible through the support of our community, volunteers, and partners.

Are you a senior at Proviso Math & Science Academy who wants to attend prom but may need support? This opportunity is designed to ensure you can fully experience this milestone with confidence, style, and ease—at no cost to you.
Selected students will receive access to prom tickets, attire support, hair and makeup services, accessories, and a full pre-prom experience to help you feel prepared and celebrated.

We welcome parents, relatives, alumni, and community members who are passionate about supporting youth and giving back. Volunteers play a vital role in creating a meaningful and memorable experience by helping with setup, coordination, student support, and more.
