When I Glow Up exists to empower families during the back-to-school season by offering holistic, culturally affirming support that uplifts both students and their households. Rooted in lived experience and a background in therapy, beauty, art, and care, our mission is to reduce stress for families in need and help students begin the school year with confidence, dignity, and joy. We believe that when the whole family is supported—through beauty care, community resources, relaxation, and essential supplies—students are better equipped to thrive both emotionally and academically.
Diana
As one of the first people to believe in the vision, Diana has played a key role in shaping When I Glow Up since day one. Her creative insight and passion for community care have helped bring our event to life in meaningful, beautiful ways. She oversees our event layout, décor, and day-of experience, ensuring every space feels intentional and inviting.
Angel
Angel joined our team with enthusiasm and grace, ready to support however she could. With a deep heart for service, she now leads volunteer coordination, helping us build a strong, reliable team that keeps the day running smoothly. Her ability to connect with people and organize logistics makes her role essential to our success.
Misha
Misha brings vibrant energy and creative vision to everything she touches. As our media and design lead, she’s the reason our brand looks as good as it feels. From flyers to social media, she amplifies our message with heart, clarity, and consistency, ensuring the glow spreads far beyond the event itself.
